What’s With AWeber and Prosender?

I was very satisfied with Aweber as an autoresponder when I used it a while ago. It did everything that it was supposed to do and then some, it had click tracking and some great looking templates. Anyways, the reason I am posting about Aweber today has nothing to do with how great their service is, but more a question like “what is happening?”

Yesterday I stumbled onto another autoresponder called Prosender. I think that I have heard of it before, but I have never actually seen their site before yesterday. When I visited it I saw something interesting. Isn’t their site exactly the same as the Aweber site? To me, their webdesign is identical. It might be just me, but what’s going on?

Just compare the two sites yourself: Aweber vs Prosender

Is Prosender the same as Aweber, just a stand-alone Aweber installation or something? I can see that Mike Filsaime’s name is at the bottom of Prosender. He is an experienced online marketer, and has he bought some rights to the Aweber autoresponder system?

Even if Prosender and Aweber uses the same autoresponder system, why would they use the same design? I just don’t understand why they have the same design, but it might be just me 🙂

Hi Jens, I was looking for the answer for this and I landed in your page. I’m curious about this because I’m in the process of developing an application and one of the features is an auto responder. I will continue searching I may found the answer.

Mike might have read this post and changed its design. Actually, ProSender is a PLR from Aweber. Mike Filsaime is just the reseller. There are other resellers out there from Aweber. See some below:

    Profollow.com
    Turboautoresponders.com
    Pro-response.com
    Jvlistpro.com
    xmailpro.com
    automateyourlist.com

I don’t see a huge difference in price from Aweber. If I had to choose, I go with the parent co.
