Why I have upgraded to Triberr Prime

triberr prime

I realize that I am working harder than ever to stay on top of things. And, I realize that I need different tools to help me stay in control and get things done. I need to ship, every single day. I can’t just keep thinking about a solution, or keep testing alternatives, without launching. If I did, I wouldn’t get paid and I wouldn’t be able to have this amazing life.

I’m telling you this during my summer vacation. I’m living in a tent, relaxing and enjoying life, more than ever. But, what I’m part of is not considered work. It’s more a life style, and it’s what I’m meant to do.

That’s how I look at it.

I have been writing about how I do my marketing, and how I continue to focus on content and storytelling as my way of doing what I love to do. But, what I haven’t been writing that much about, is how important relationships are. Well, I have written several posts about it, but it seems to me that it’s been a while.

That’s exactly why I want to introduce you to Triberr.

What is Triberr?

I have been a member of Triberr for a long time, and my first thought when I joined, was that I was thinking of the book Tribes by Seth Godin, and I thought that Triberr was a community of people trying to connect and/or build their own tribes online. And, I don’t think that I was wrong.

Triberr is a platform to meet and connect with people with the same interests as you, and it’s a way to share their content and for them to share your content in social media.

I joined for free, to meet people with the same interests, and to get help to share my content and to help others share their content. Everything about Triberr has been working great. And, I believe that we are part of something huge.

Why did I upgrade to Prime?

I believe that the Triberr that I’m part of today, is just the beginning. Now, that we’ve manage to connect that many people to this already huge community, and we’ve started sharing the content, it’s just a matter of time, before Triberr will be launching something much bigger.

I haven’t talked to Dan and Dino (the founders) about this, but I have a feeling that something amazing will happen during 2013.

Triberr has been developed into a much more sophisticated community, a lot more people have joined, and I have met some brilliant people. I have been a free member forever. But, a few days ago, I decided that I wanted to become a prime member. I wanted to start paying for everything I have been receiving for free. I have received so much help from the two founders; both Dino Dogan and Dan Cristo have been amazing. So, my first thought was that I want to give something back to them, no matter what I was going to get in return as part of my paid membership.

I have to admit. I have been a free member, and the free membership has worked better than anything I have paid for. That’s why I wasn’t sure why I really need to upgrade. But, I did it anyway.

The first thing I have noticed with my upgrade is that I have a new tribe, an automatic tribe. If you join my tribe, you’ll start sharing my blog posts automatically (on Twitter, and on Facebook and LinkedIn if you want to add more of your social profiles. You’re still in control, because you can leave the tribe when ever you want.). If you’re already sharing my content, this will be a lot easier for you. You don’t have to push a button to get it done. I’m a member of several automatic tribes, but only for people and content I trust and share anyway. Like I said, it makes it a lot easier.

And, I have more options. I get to control more tribes, than if I didn’t upgrade. I’m not going to go into all the details, because, the reason I joined in the first place, and the reason I upgraded are simple:

I believe that Triberr is a fantastic community, and I have a strong belief that Triberr will change the world we live in.

That’s it. And that’s why I decided to finally start paying.

Thats some good benefits for being a payed member i love the automatic sharing and is there anything else i should know about ?

    • Hi Osei. Thanks a lot for your feedback. You’ll get to be chief of more Tribes and you’ll increase from 100 to 120 shared posts (this way you’ll be able to set and forget more posts, great during the summer). You’ll get a “free” T-shirt, and I know there are some more benefits as well, like seminars/conferences and freebies.

Hi Jens! I’m glad you posted about this because I have been wondering about the benefits of going Pro on Triberr and if it’s worth it. Automatic sharing is a big perk imo. I like that for sure! I’m like Osei, anything else you can share with us?

Great post and I feel the same way about Triberr and Dino and Dan. They have given so much. I consider Dino a close friend and he is always there to give of himself without an expectation of anything directly in return… he truly lives #RonR.

  4. Avi says:

Triberr is a great community and love to see people sharing each others content. I’ve joined just a month ago and got great and unbelievable results. And about the prime membership, I think I’ll get it too.

Hey! Jens, thanks for sharing this. About the automatic tribe, only my own posts will be shared automatically or for all tribe members?

  5. Dino Dogan says:

    Hi Jens,

Thnx so much for going Prime and thnx for writing about Triberr…again 🙂

You’re right. There is something BIG coming soon. I’m happy to tell you about it. Skype me: dino.dogan

    • My pleasure Dino. Triberr is fantastic. I’ve just added you to Skype and I’ll try to contact you later today. I’m not sure if it will be possible, since I’m on an island and using 3G on my iPad 🙂

Hi Jens, Like you, I upgraded to Triberr Prime earlier this year. What Dino and Dan have created is truly amazing and has supported The Wonder of Tech tremendously. I also wanted to support Triberr because of all that it has done for me: boosted my traffic, increased my Twitter followers, and helped me connect with top bloggers.

I also started an Atomic tribe and enjoy the benefits of more approved posts in my queue. But the most important thing for me is knowing that I support Dino and Dan in their mission.

The t-shirt is cool too. 😉

I joined your Atomic Tribe and would be delighted if you joined mine as well!

Hey there Jens, great post! I just discovered Triberr today and I’m still to to learn my way around. But after reading your post, I don’t think I’ll be a free member very long.
I really like the auto-sharing feature.

I was looking at another tribe based service, but I like want Triberr has to after. Glad I came across your post!

    • That’s awesome Anthony. Triberr is a fantastic community, and I’m looking forward to the next features. Dino and Dan has done an amazing job. Find me on Triberr and let’s connect.

    Hey Jens

When I first started using Triberr I just didn’t get what it was all about.

But over the past few weeks, I’ve grown to love being part of tribes and having people join mine too.

Triberr Prime sounds ace. Once thing I’d like to see from Triberr is a better commenting section which could replace both WordPress and CommentLuv.

I installed the plugin but was a little disappointed with that feature and also the lack of people who allow reblogging so I took it off my blog again.

I’m going to join your Atomic Tribe now!

    • That’s awesome Tim. Thanks a lot.

I’m waiting for a better commenting system as well, and I don’t know this, but I believe we’ll see it fairly soon.

    • Dino Dogan says:

It’s true. We’re working on a new, re-imagined way of commenting. We’re calling it Conversations.

It combines few of the most impressing features of other commenting systems plus a little Triberr magic 🙂

We’ll have a beta release in 2 weeks. Stay tuned 🙂

  9. Hi Jeans,

    Sounds like a great idea!

Ever since I joined Triberr my traffic also increased. The prime seems like it saves you a lot of time doing this manually. I might do the same thing.

How much did it cost you?

I hope this is not the reoccurring billing.

    Hi Jens
I came across your blog a few weeks ago and right away realised you do things differently. Instead of the old “5 email marketing tips” and “how to write your own ebook” that every IM blog seems to have, there’s a wealth of unique stuff here. I’d never heard of Triberr until I read this article, so thanks for the heads up.
    Keep up the good work!

  11. Sourav says:

In the beginning it took me some time to understand properly, and I didn’t know how I could benefit from it. But once I started to join some tribes as bloggers, I could see the benefit right away.
I got a lot of shares to my posts. In fact, the most number of shares that I get are from Triberr.
The auto approval feature of the prime membership seems great. You got me thinking about the Triberr prime, because I have benefited a lot from as a free member.

  12. Adrienne says:

    Hey Jens,

Well like you I’ve been with Triberr from the beginning and I can’t say enough wonderful things about them. It’s definitely boosted my traffic as well and anyone who drags their feet using a free platform that will not only help you meet new people but connect with them as they share your content is just crazy.

I have not yet gone to prime only because I don’t really want posts to be automatic. I like the control of what I want to share so when they first had that set up and then changed it back I was really happy.

I’m already part of so many tribes I would feel guilty even joining more because it takes me days and weeks to get around to sharing everyone’s stuff as it is. I don’t send out tons of tweets a day from Triberr so I’m just not sure at this time if that’s the direction I want to go.

Granted, I definitely want to support Dino and Dan because they’re awesome and as you mentioned are always there for us. Thanks though for letting us know why you chose to upgrade and I’m definitely keeping it in mind.

  13. Good article Jens. I’ve been considering it for a while now, but you give a really great reason to sign up – the platform has already provided so much value. Would be interested in hearing your thoughts on it after you’ve been a paid member for a while.

  14. Hi Jens,

I almost signed up for prime membership but when I saw the $10 recurring billing I had to halt. For one, I’m still new on Triberr. Second of all, I already have enough recurring billing. So I need to stop. But I am pretty impress by the amount of traffic Triberr brought me and so for now I’ll be their biggest supporter. Will recommend them to my friends.

  15. Reginald says:

    Hi there!

Nice write up! I feel this is the best article I read about Triberr prime. Honestly, so many thing to try in such a short period. Okay, I’m tempted to try this big time (going prime I mean).

Appreciate the time you took to recommend and wrote this for us all.

Thanks again and keep in touch!

  16. Lisa says:

Jens, I love Triberr and have been wondering about the benefits of Prime and the cost. Is it $40/month? I wish they had a mini plan 🙂 And automatic tribes, does that mean you have to share everything in your tribe? I like Adrienne like to have some control of what things I’m sharing on the net. I think you are right that something big will be happening with Triberr and the founders. They are awesome.

    • Hi Lisa, I’m a Prime Lite member and I’m paying $10 a month, and that membership is great for me. You can read more about it here: – when it comes to the automatic tribe, I think that all members of my automatic tribe are sharing all my blog post automatically, unless they stop it manually or I stop it manually. But, so far, I haven’t done anything about the settings.

  17. Thanks for sharing this Jens, I have thought about the prime membership too! I love Tiberr and know that it has help me grow a bigger following and met some amazing people. I feel the samw way you do – It’s better than anything that I have ever paid for.

    • Hi Elizabeth,

Triberr Prime is awesome. I haven’t thought much about if it helps my business enough that it’s worth the money. But, since I really enjoy it, and the Dino and Dan are brilliant. And, it seems that I get a lot more interaction and a lot more done, by being a Prime member, I will keep being one for a long time 🙂

  18. George says:

I, too, have recently upgraded to premium triberr. It is my belief that one intiative much like triberr (if not triberr) wil soon replace rss readers and social media aggregators alltogether.
