Customer service is more important than ever. Smiles are more important than ever. You need to be remarkable. You need to turn purple. In other words; stand out from the crowd by being awesome.
The world is changing. You need to adapt. The changes are happening faster and faster, as we’re looking in a different direction. What worked months ago, might not be working anymore. What worked weeks ago, might be something not worth considering.
I still believe fantastic customer service will be important in marketing (forever). But, it’s now more true than ever, that we can’t predict the future. I still struggle with Facebook. It’s not the technology. It’s the people. The world is changing, because people are changing, because society is changing. There are many reasons why; technology being a major reason.

The one thing that’ll remain the same, is the importance of making people feel good.
