As I'm writing this I have been using a free template on my blog for about a month. The reason for this is that I have switched from Wordpress to Drupal. The design I had was created for Wordpress.

I had to switch to Drupal without warning, and without doing any planning. I experienced the heaven and hell of blogging, all within the first week of December.

I've just received an interesting tip from David McGregor about Fast Company's annual Masters of Design issue.

As I was reading his email, I realized that I rarely write about design.

That's not because I think that design is not part of the marketing process, or that design is not as important as all the other parts of the process. Design is actually very important.

Design is in fact so important, that my blog is being redesigning as I'm writing this.
