I have been blogging for a while, and I have created several blogs. I'm fairly satisfied with my resaults, but when I think back and think of what I should have done different, there are three things that I consider to be my biggest mistakes as a blogger.

I should probably add, the biggest change for 2010 so far. There are a few days left of 2009, and I have no idea what will happen next year, other than that it will be a very interesting and extraordinary year for me. I have many plans that I'll tell you more about later.

I'm usually not very into the whole New Year's resolutions thing, but lately, not sure if it's because I'm getting older, I've felt an urge to add a few resolutions.

Anyway.

What I'm up to now is not really about New Year's resolutions though.

As I'm writing this I have been using a free template on my blog for about a month. The reason for this is that I have switched from Wordpress to Drupal. The design I had was created for Wordpress.

I had to switch to Drupal without warning, and without doing any planning. I experienced the heaven and hell of blogging, all within the first week of December.

As you probably have noticed, at least if you are a regular reader of mine, I had to migrate from WordPress to Drupal about a month ago.

I have just received access to Wordpress Wizard 2.0, a wordpress coaching and blogging program. The reason I wanted access, was because it was released by MaxBlogPress. The guys at MaxBlogPress are all about quality.

Let me tell you about how you should go about to market a product by blogging. I call it how to blog a product, because that's what you're really doing.

I am the first to admit that sometimes it's fairly hard to find interesting topics to write about, and sometimes, even though I have the perfect topic, it can be fairly hard to find the right words. But, creative bloggers never get writer's block, and I'll tell you why. Writing is all about being creative. As a blogger, we need to use words to express our thoughts, fantasies and ideas. Writer's block is sort of a period when all the creativity seems to be gone, and you just can't find anything to write about.

This is important. When most people search Google, they are in search of information. You probably already know that there's a lot of information on the Internet. As a blogger, you want them to read your content. At least that's what you should be aiming for. It's fairly hard to create good content, sometimes it's even hard to come up with anything new for my blog. But most of the time, the reason I am able to come up with new and creative content, is because I am using the following tips. But first, what makes you good at writing about what you do?  Part of it is natural talent.

To me, blogging is a fairly simple process, but sometimes it's a lot of work. It's not hard to actually publish an article to my blog , but getting the traffic and earning money from my blog is a lot harder. I've been blogging for a while and I'm still not seeing the traffic numbers I'd like to see (I see them a few times a month, but other times they are far from what I'd like them to be).
