When Should You Quit Your Job?
Submitted by jens on Sun, 10/18/2009 - 22:41The first thing you should understand, is that it's a long term decision. Even though my thoughts on this topic is not really related to Seth Godin, you should read The Dip. Sometimes quitting is the best decision, sometimes sticking is what you should be doing. It's an awesome book about any project or about any long term decision really.

Submitted by jens on Sun, 03/29/2009 - 05:00My favorite snack is potato chips, no doubt about it. It's saturday, and it's the perfect day for a post about a very interesting potato chips marketing story.
Most brands selling potato chips in Norway are famous, multi-national corporations, huge companies with lots of workers.
Ask yourself, what would you do in order to get a piece of the potato chips market, when you know that you are up against this kind of competition?

Submitted by jens on Mon, 08/11/2008 - 11:23Sometimes I think that the job I have is an almost impossible job. Because I am about to market a college, and attract more students. Hmm, that almost sounds like a very interesting job (ok, it really is an interesting job, but I have a few obstacles).
I'll be brief about the problem; there are a lot of people who have strong opinions about marketing. The college is using a very small amount of money dedicated to marketing, and the way the college have been marketing itself in the past is the traditional way - like all other colleges and universities in Norway.
