Celebrating The Masters of Design

I've just received an interesting tip from David McGregor about Fast Company's annual Masters of Design issue.

As I was reading his email, I realized that I rarely write about design.

That's not because I think that design is not part of the marketing process, or that design is not as important as all the other parts of the process. Design is actually very important.

Design is in fact so important, that my blog is being redesigning as I'm writing this.

New and Interesting Ads From a Millionaire

I've just watched the brand new ad system from "Blogging to the Bank" millionaire Rob Benwell and his partner Steven Tenpenny. The system is Slide In Ad, and in a way, it's similar to pop over ads and slide up ads.

I'm asking myself the following question; is this system better, converts more sales and is less intrusive, than pop over ads and slide up ads?

One Day You Will Be Famous

One of the most interesting features of the world today, is how easy it is to discover talent.

Today, you don’t need to be with a huge record company, a tv company, or any business at all… you only need a webcam, talent, and guts, lots of guts.

I wonder, is it really about marketing, or is it all about talent?

Another Product I Just Had To Buy

Not sure what's happening to me, but I have bought two products in two days. Maybe a new record for me, well, none of them where expensive, especially the one I just bought. I got it for $0.30, and maybe the cheapest and most powerful product I have ever bought? The price is going up a nickel every time someone purchases. So, at the moment I have no idea what the price is. You can check the price here. The reason I bought it was not just because of the price.

100% Commission is Always Interesting

I usually buy products if they offer 100% commission, and the reason is simple. I always end up getting my money back. It's really just one sale, and you get the product for free. Usually, I sell 3-4 of them without any effort at all. But that's not the only reason why I buy products that offers 100% commission. I buy them first and foremost because of information. If the product looks interesting, I buy it, because of the information it provides.

The Brand New Internet Marketing Newsletter

You might have already noticed that I am writing an Internet marketing newsletter. Well, I haven't been exactly proud of the contents. That's because I really haven't had a goal, I have only been sending various tips related to Internet marketing techniques and especially when it comes to various interesting new systems that my subscribers could sign up for. Most of the systems did cost money, and I would earn a few extra bucks in commission from the sales. That's all about to end. Starting tomorrow, I will send out my first edition of the brand new Internet marketing newsletter.

How Commission Blueprint is using Proof to Increase Sales

This is part of a series of posts that I am writing related to Commission Blueprint. Be sure to read the other posts as well (this list will be updated as soon as I publish new posts):

Yes - I did it

I told you that I was going to be upgrading slymarketing to the latest wordpress version due to security issues. I was sort of expecting a lot of problems due my experience from the last upgrade (to version 2.3.3).

Guess what?

I did the upgrade in minutes, and I am so proud of myself.

Is This The Ultimate Exit Popup?

I have been testing various ways to grab my visitors attention, from the lightbox popover from AWeber, to various Exit Popovers. They do work, but the problem is that I find them annoying.

If I find them annoying, I think my visitors will also find them annoying. If they find them annoying, they won’t be coming back.

Should You Buy Google Nemesis?

Not sure if you have noticed, but Chris McNeeny from Day Job Killer and Google Assassin (and other very successful systems) has just launched Google Nemesis. I have already received tons of e-mail promotions about it, even though it just launched.

Should you buy Google Nemesis (not an affiliate link)?

The price is (right now) $67 a month, and it’s all about how to be successful promoting and selling ClickBank products.
