Glitch Turned Into Powerful Marketing

Let me first tell you the story, how it has been told to me, and what most people think happened.

About a week ago, the news about a falling meteor that created a 27 feet wide crater in Latvia was spread across the world. It was in all the major newspapers, all the TV channels, and of course, on every major social media site. The phenomenon was named Splatvia.
