Front End Sales and Back End Sales Explained
Submitted by jens on Fri, 11/13/2009 - 02:04I have always been fascinated by how Internet marketers promote their products, and how they earn their money. Well, always might not be entirely true. The story I'm about to tell you is about three years old. To me, everything that seems as always is always.
One of the first words or I should probably say concepts in Internet marketing, that I read about, and didn't quite understand, was front end sales and back end sales.
New and Interesting Ads From a Millionaire
Submitted by jens on Mon, 10/12/2009 - 23:38I've just watched the brand new ad system from "Blogging to the Bank" millionaire Rob Benwell and his partner Steven Tenpenny. The system is Slide In Ad, and in a way, it's similar to pop over ads and slide up ads.
I'm asking myself the following question; is this system better, converts more sales and is less intrusive, than pop over ads and slide up ads?
Albert Einstein and Internet Marketing
Submitted by jens on Wed, 10/07/2009 - 13:08The single sentence that I've learned the most from when it comes to Internet Marketing is from none other than Albert Einstein.
Albert Einstein was a theoretical physicist, he's famous for his theories of relativity and he received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1921. He did not have anything to do with Internet marketing, and he did not have Internet marketing in mind when he originated his now famous quote.
It's really his definition of insanity:
Popular Equals Slow
Submitted by jens on Thu, 09/10/2009 - 03:39It seems that the more popular a service gets, the slower it becomes.
At my local grocery store, popular means more people, which means longer lines. Sometimes, it takes forever to buy the groceries.
I'm seeing the same pattern online.
It takes forever to get an ad approved at Google AdWords. I've been waiting four days now for a regular ad to get approved. I can't see if there are anything out of the ordinary with this ad, but it's still pending the review.
Should You Go With a Fake Twitter Account?
Submitted by jens on Tue, 08/25/2009 - 04:16If you go with a fake twitter account, you could get a huge amount of follwers in a matter of hours.
Darth Vader has almost 108,000 followers.
Even though you're fake, you still need to be funny, and worth following or you'll end up losing.
Borat has more than 140,000 followers.

Submitted by jens on Sat, 08/01/2009 - 02:35I use Barnes and Nobles for close to every single book I order online. It has become my favorite bookstore. They have a wide selection of books, they are fairly cheap, and I can use PayPal. But that's not all.
They have a way to keep their customers coming back to them. There are at least three things we all can learn from them when it comes to Marketing.
1) Attractive web design

Submitted by jens on Mon, 07/13/2009 - 23:00There are probably many things you shouldn't be learning from people selling cars, but there is at least one thing that you should learn.
Free test drives are important, sometimes that's what sells the car, not the person actually trying to sell the car.
Every brand new car should have a major advertisement on the car. Whenever somebody is test driving the car, all the other people watching will know what kind of car she's test driving.
How can we apply this to Internet Marketing?
