Social bookmarking sites like Digg, del.icio.us and Reddit have become very popular and thousands of people are using them every single day. If your posts get submitted and become popular at such a site, you will get a lot more traffic than you normally would.
But I am wondering if this is something you should do, or should just your visitors do that? I did submit a few of my posts to Reddit a long time ago, and I got more readers by doing it.
Now I am thinking of submitting every new post to more sites, just to see what will happen to my traffic. But I am not sure if this is a good thing for the blog owner to do or not?
The reason that I am not sure if this is a good thing or not, is that if every blog owner did the same, social bookmarking sites will be filled with a lot of “bad” posts instead of really good ones that people bookmarked and shared with others.
I just have to think about it a little bit more before I decide if I am going to try it or not. And if I am going to try it I think that I will be using a new very interesting service that I just found called Social Poster, they have a wordpress plugin for it as well.
