If I would hire someone to create a Firefox add-on, I would create something that I think almost all Internet marketers would want.
When I think about it, I just can’t believe that nobody has created this add-on for Firefox yet. I have been looking everywhere, well, I have only been looking at the Firefox add-on page, but that’s where everything is (so it’s almost like I have been looking everywhere).
What I am talking about is a Firefox add-on that will help you cloak links. I would want a free add-on, that will cloak my links with just a few clicks.
I am not sure, but I don’t think that it can’t be that hard to create, and think about how many people that would download it and use it.
I am talking about a software like Ninja Link Cloaker (that would probably be hard, but it doesn’t have to have all the features).
If you could create something like that, or get a programmer to create one for you; my guess is that you could get thousands of people on your optin-list (if they have to submit their e-mail address in order to download the add-on) or if you could somehow use the add-on to promote yourself and your blog/business, my guess is that your name would be on most Internet marketers lips within a few days.
I am a firm believer in giving away really cool stuff for free in order to gain trust.
And trust is what marketing is all about…
If you are loooking for a programmer, like if you are thinking about creating this Firefox Add-on (or something else), you could hire a freelancer at any of these sites:
The only problem I can see with creating an add-on like the link cloaker for Firefox is that it has to be compatible with new releases like Firefox 3 (coming soon).
