Share your Google Analytics reports

December 5, 2007

Blogging

I have been using Google Analytics for a while now, but recently I discovered that it is possible to share your statistical reports with other people. This can be interesting if you are running a website with more than one author or more than one webmaster.

It’s really easy to share your Google Analytics reports. Just do the following:

Click on the website you want to share, that’s if you have more than one website.

Then, click on user manager. Look at the image below, I have highlighted the words where you should click.

Now, click add user. I have highlighted these words as well.

You should type the email address of the person you would like to have access to your Google Analytics reports. This person must have a valid gmail address.

And you should then add the domain that you would like the person to see the reports to. You can add as many domains as you like. See the image above.

If you don’t do anything with the access type, and keep it restricted to view reports only, the person you are giving access to will not be able to do anthing but view the reports.

Finally. Remember to click save.
