The Secret behind Success at Hupages

A short while ago I signed up for an account at HubPages. After creating two hubs and updating one of them a few times, I think that I have found the secret to success at HubPages.

I have received visitors to both of my hubs, but not a lot. I have been watching two successful people at HubPages and I have found one major difference in what they are doing and what I am not doing. And I actually think that most people are like me, when it comes to HubPages or Squidoo for that matter. We create a hub or a lense and when we are satisfied with it, we move on, we continue with our blog or whatever we used to do before we created the hub or lense.

What successful people at HubPages are doing is that they are creating hubs instead of a blog post (like the one I am writing now). They create a new hub a few times a week, and the hubs are very focused when it comes to the contents. It’s almost as if they are creating a niche hub, but the niche is inside their topic.

For instance, if I am going to try my best to be successful at HubPages, I would stick to the topic of Internet marketing. But instead of creating one hub called Internet marketing, I would create one today called AutoResponders, one in a few days called Traffic Exchanges and one in another few days called Search Engine Optimization. I would find new topics and start creating new hubs to cover the topics. And maybe like Search Engine Optimization would be a too wide of a topic, maybe even AutoResponders would be?

I have seen some successful people at HubPages creating hubs about one specific book, not the author, but one book. And I have seen hubs with content related to one specific company, like AWeber (an AutoResponder).

To be successful at HubPages, I think that you need to keep publishing new hubs at least once a week and you need to focus on a niche inside your niche (if you get my point). Well, that’s at least what people that I found to be successful are doing.

Visit HubPages and start creating your hubs.
