There are many ways to drive traffic to your site, and I think that the FeedBurner headline animator might be one of them. What it does is that it takes you latest headlines (or maybe all, I am not sure) and animates in a pretty cool way. I am giving you an example below on how it can be done. This is the size of a normal banner, 486×60 pixels and instead of just the normal graphics that you usually have on a banner, you get your different blog headlines.
I was thinking about using it on traffic exchanges, but I am not sure if it works or not. Because the code is a little different on this one. At traffic exchanges you can usually just have one line of code, and that´s just for the image file and one line for the target url. Anyway, the reason that I like it is that in just a few seconds visitors will see many of your headlines and if they find that they are pretty interesting, they can just click on the “banner” and subscribe to your feeds. I can´t be done much easier than this.
One way that I am going to use the headline animator is to put it in my e-mail signature, this way everybody that will be reading my e-mails might also be checking out my blog headlines and might even subscribe to my feeds. A very easy way and a great way to promote your blog.
It´s very easy to make your own headline animator, just sign in at FeedBurner and click on publicize, and then click on Headline Animator. From then on it´s just point and click, and you will be done in a few minutes or maybe even in just seconds.
