I have explained how you can (and should) create friends lists on Facebook. Tomorrow, I’ll be writing an amazing post (well, sort of) about why you should be using groups on Facebook, and how you should be using them. But, today, I will let you know about an interesting post from Tim Linden (the owner of StartXchange).
He has written a post about traffic exchanges on Facebook, and he explains that he created the Traffic Exchanges group, there are already 38 members of the group, 19 of them are traffic exchange owners.
I thought I’d let you know about this one before I’ll explain “the real power of groups at Facebook” in my next post.
The most interesting part of the Traffic Exchange group (or any group on Facebook) is that it’s free viral marketing. Just look at the numbers, today, when I read Tim’s post, it has 38 members. Tim has even updated it from 34 members (I wonder how many times he is going to be updating it), and tomorrow, my guess is that it has doubled the amount of members.
Darn, I just visited the group, and it already has 139 members.
