How to make people remember you

As a business, we’re doing our best to create customers for life. We want every single person to remember us when they need us, and we want them to smile and return to our store and keep buying whatever we’re selling. They should be contacting us, not the other way around – that’s inbound marketing.


Think about this for a minute:

Marketing is not advertising.

We are focusing on telling authentic stories, building relationships and doing what we can to make the customer feel happy. The customers are paying for how we make them feel – no matter what our business is.

Now, think about this for a minute:

“People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
– Maya Angelou

This quote tells you exactly what marketing is, even though that’s not what Maya Angelou had in mind…

Your job in marketing is to make people feel good. If you make them feel good, they’ll remember you.

    Don’t always do work for money. Some times help people without money if the work is little. Then definitely they will remember you for future work. The same thing blogging if we visit other bloggers blogs daily and will leave comment then you will be save their remember list.

    I totally agree with you Jens because like Maya’s quote, it’s how you make them feel. All people want to know is that you care enough to help them and they’ll keep coming back for more.

    I love this share, great explanation and that’s the definition of marketing.

      First, I was thinking that I should only add the title of the post and then add the quote as the only content. I still think that would be enough, but I just couldn’t, I had to write a few sentences to explain it 🙂
