It´s been a few days with some questions and not so many answers. I tried to upgrade the script at Online Marketing Catalog myself, but I wasn´t quite successful. Actually I wasn´t successful at all, the whole site went down and I had to contact the creators and they had to help me get it back up again.
It took a while, but now everything seems to be as it was in the good old days. Well, I hope it is. I haven´t tested everything yet, and with my luck something will happen as soon as I publish this post 
… and why do I really upgrade? I keep thinking that an upgrade is always for the better, but I have no idea if it really is.
