Do you recommend any alternatives to Squidoo, like HubPages?

Squidoo used to be a great place to write about anything and everything – unfortunately they have now decided that they have gotten toooo big for their boots.

I have lots of lenses on squidoo and it seems that each and every month, I get a lens locked message.

At first they wanted everyone and didn’t care what you wrote about, now they have decided that they are too good for internet marketers, get too much money from Adsense, amazon click and purchases etc:

If you know what’s good for you and your business – find an alternative – Squidoo is on a slippery slope to nowhere.

18 months ago the site was getting thousands of searches from Google each day – they are now down to around 200 – this is because everyone is going elsewhere.

i like squidoo more, but i’m probably biased as I’ve been following Seth Godin’s blog for a while

FYI, HubPages and Squidoo are very similar in traffic. See quantcast.com. Although, HubPages has grown much more quickly lately.
