Lost All Confidence In Google

I have had my problems with [tag]Google AdSense[/tag], I have actually been “banned”. They gave me no [tag]reason[/tag], and I looked at my email again a few days ago, and it seems that I am not allowed to get a new AdSense account. If I did something wrong, at least I should have gotten a [tag]warning[/tag]. No warning, no explanation, just disabled my [tag]account[/tag].

I was upset, but thought ok, forget about it. But then I read similar stories from a lot of other people. And I don´t really understand what Google is up to. A huge global coorporation like [tag]Google[/tag] should treat their [tag]customers[/tag] with respect. Not just write them an email and say that they have done something illegal, but not telling them what they actually have done.

And now I have one more thing to add to my complaints against Google.

One of my friends applied for a Google AdSenses account about 14 days ago. His application got rejected. That´s ok too. They said that his site wasn´t “good enough” (that´s my words). But the reason for my reaction is their final words in their email.

Please note that we may not be able to respond to inquiries regarding the specific reasons for our decision. Thank you for your understanding.

They are disabling Google AdSense accounts and they are rejecting applications, but they will not give you any reasons for why they are doing this. I can´t quite understand how this can continue without any massive reactions for customers worldwide.

This is the e-mail my friend received:

Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. After reviewing your application, our specialists have found that it does not meet our prograram criteria. Therefore, we are unable to accept you into our program.

We have certain [tag]policies[/tag] in place that we believe will help ensure the effectiveness of Google ads for our publishers as well as for our advertisers. We review all publishers, and we reserve the right to
decline any application. As we grow, we may find that we are able to expand our program to more web [tag]publishers[/tag] with a wider variety of web content.

Please note that we may not be able to respond to inquiries regarding the specific reasons for our decision. Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense Team

And another thing, when I am in this kind of mood, how do we know that Google Adwords prices are what they claim them to be? The problem is that the only reason why we pay what we pay for our [tag]Adwords[/tag] campaigns are because we trust Google. We don´t really know if somebody else have actually paid more per click for their ads, or do we? I have actually given this some thought, and I haven´t come up with any answer on how this Adwords thing works other than it´s all based on trust.

We have no evidence that a company is paying $0.50 per click, and that´s why you have to bid more than $0.50 to get a better position of your ads. And it´s not all about how much you pay, it´s also about clickthroughs. But do we really know that there are real people clicking on our ads and not some Google bot? Well, I am not going to be conspiring against Google, I just don´t understand how we can [tag]trust[/tag] a company that will give no reason for their actions.

We really don´t know that much about them other than that they are providing us with some great tools.
