London NBA here I come

At wednesday October 10th (tomorrow), I will be in London (England) with some friends of mine. We are travelling from Norway to watch the NBA game between Boston Celtics and Minnesota Timberwolves. This will be my first NBA game ever, and it will be in London.

I am so excited. I think we are going to be 12 people travelling, and we will stay in London at Hilton for two nights. I am really looking forward to the visit and the game, and I will tell you later how my experience was.

Not sure what we will be doing after the game, but I guess we will have to travel around the city and watch some of the famous sites. Now it`s time to surf the web and find the best pizza restaurant in all of London 🙂

    Hi Jens,

Great ideas on getting people back to your blog!

Offering blog subscriptions is key. We’ve found that a lot of the traffic to our blog comes from clickthroughs on the updates we send out to email subscribers (RSS subscribers click through as well but it seems that our email ones are more responsive).

One other tactic you may find helpful is to embed a signup form at the end of a post, saying something to the effect of “Did you find this helpful? Sign up for free email notifications and we’ll send tips like these straight to your inbox!” We’ve done this on several posts on our blog with great success.

    Hope this helps!

P.S. Why aren’t you using us to manage your blog’s email subscribers, too? 😉

    Hi Justin,

Thank you for your comment and for your suggestion 🙂

The reason that I am not using Aweber to manage my blog´s email subscribers is that I haven´t looked at the option yet, maybe I should?

I find your autoresponder / newsletter service to be awesome, and if you handle the blog e-mail subscription service as good, then I might just have to switch…
