International Travel Tips – You Need A Vacation

There are many reasons why we need a vacation. Today, I’m looking for international travel tips. Please leave a comment and let me know about your favorite travel tips and the vacations you recommend.

Every time I travel to a new place, I gain a perspective on life, it enhances my creativity, it rests my body and mind, and it expands the mind. And, let’s not forget, it’s always a lot of fun.

Gain perspective on life

I’m usually occupied with daily chores and work. When I travel to new places, I change the pace, and rethink life. That’s what happened when I visited Tuscany, and it’s what happened when I’m living in a tent during the summer.

It enhances creativity

I need creativity in my life. I want to experiment, and think about things in a different way. I do my best to share creativity with my kids, and that’s how creativity is born.

Every time I travel, I find new ways to look at things. Sometimes it’s part of the culture, other times it happens because I meet new people, and it happens when I keep asking people why.

When I let the daily worries go, it leaves room for new thinking and creativity.

A Rest for Body and Mind

The reason I need international travel tips is not just about getting a new perspective on life and to enhance my creativity. Every time I let the daily worries go, I get rest for my body and mind. It’s just fantastic way to be calm and enjoy life. A vacation allows me to spend quality time with people I love or by myself.

Expands the Mind

Traveling expands the mind. Vacations gives me space to do something that’s different and new.

Most of what I do on vacations are different and new. I meet new people, I read something new, and I get to see new places, and I even hear new and different sounds.

International travel tips

I am looking for international travel tips. I still have a fear of flying, but I want to experience new and different. Please leave a comment and let me know about your favorite travel tips and the vacations you recommend.

  1. Hi Jens,

It’s good to be back to the blogosphere once again, after my break.

I think this post is so apt, as we are just back from a loooong vacation ourselves! Well, not really a vacation as it was more of working on a few projects behind the scenes, which you’d know about over time, and of course, a little time with the family is always welcome.

All I can say is a vacation boosts your creativity and pumps new life into the old you. Yes, you do manage to get some quality time to spend with your loved ones as well.

I’d love to invite you to our country, Jens! I am sure you’d love visiting this country, though you’d have to fly…lol…but always a good exposure to learn about various countries and their culture, isn’t it?

Thanks for sharing. Have a nice week ahead 🙂

    • Hi Harleena,

I’m looking forward to hearing more about your new project. And, one day I’ll be visiting your country too. I do fly, but only when I have to. If it’s possible I’ll go by train instead.

My goal is to be traveling more during 2016, and I need all the tips I can get.

Did you travel anywhere for your vacation?

Travelling can do wonders for someone in so many different ways.

  3. Yes, I very much agree . . . international travel broadens your perspective.

I’ve sort-of taken it one step further, as I now live in a different country to where I grew up, and I still travel a lot too . . . last year Bali was my new country to visit (which was lovely), and before that Kathmandu which was also stunning.

You see your own country differently when you get back, particularly if you really get involved in the country you are visiting, walk the streets, talk to the locals etc. (rather than watching it all go by from an air-conditioned bus).

Yes, like you, I highly value international travel, although I love the landscape I was brought up in too, as there is a unique connection to the spirits there.

thanks for a great post 🙂

    Chris
