When it comes to the overview, I usually erase/remove things that I no longer need. This way, I don't have to be flipping through several pages to find my notes (just look at the image above and you'll see a great example).I also agree with you when it comes to backup. I'm thinking of the times when you have a great idea and you're about to enter it and you realize that you don't have any power left on your computer or iPhone. This summer, I was on a holiday for 5 weeks without electricity. It didn't matter how cool my iPhone was.A combination between handwritten notes and using a computer/iPhone is probably what works best.
