I Want Ojeez To Be Like Facebook

May 26, 2007

Social Media

I have recently been using Facebook more and more, and it seems that my friends and colleagues are also kind of “hooked” on it. T think that the reason is simple. They have some features that everybody can use, whether you have been using computers for a decade or you are just starting out. Facebook is as easy as it gets.

The features I would like Ojeez to look at Facebook for is how to find “friends” and how to interact with them. At Facebook you get a newsfeed as soon as you log in. You will see “everything” that your “friends” are up to. If they have joined a new group, if they have added new “friends”, added new pictures, changed their profile and more. This makes it very easy to see what is happening and you want to log in every day just to see what is happening, maybe just for a few seconds, but you want to check it out.

Ojeez should use this same feature, but also add companies and marketing strategies to it. For instance, if I am using a traffic exchange to promote something. This should be announced at the newsfeed of my friends, and also the traffic exchanges that I use. If I use Aweber, my friends can also see the information about that. Ojeez should be an open community, where we can find all sorts of marketing information and information about various businesses.

I think that the most important feature is to find people with the same interesest and people promoting the same company, and that all members can interact and find the marketing tools / methods on how to promote their business the best possible way. Ojeez will hopefully be a Facebook for the network marketing industry. They are still in prelaunch, not even in beta yet, but more than 7700 members have signed up. Well, a few less than Facebook with more than 22 million users world wide (at least that´s what I have heard).
