How To Use Twitter on Facebook For Your Business

I have been using Facebook for a while, but ever since most of my regular friends (my offline friends) joined, I have had a challenge to find a way to use Facebook for marketing purposes. I don’t want to combine friends and business (business with pleasure), and therefore, I have not been using its full potential. Lately though, I have been using twitter as a way to communicate and update my business friends on Facebook, without my regular friends noticing.

Let me tell you how I am doing it.

What I was looking for was a way to update Facebook with business related stuff, stuff that my regular friends can’t see. This way I could still use Facebook for other things than to just communicate with my regular friends.

It was easier than I thought.

I just created a new friends list on Facebook. I call my list twitter, and I added people related to my business to this list (and I keep adding new business relations to this list).

The reason I called my list twitter, was because people on this list will see my tweets.

I added the twitter application to my Facebook profile, I tweaked it so it would show all my tweets on my Facebook status. Finally, I gave my new friends list access to the twitter application, and only this list of friends. After I did this, the only people that will see my twitter updates are my business relations.

It was easy to set up, and now most of my business relations on Facebook is automated.

Follow me on twitter and add me as a friend on Facebook.
