I have recently discovered that it’s possible to drive a lot of extra twitter traffic to my newsletter by sending it to twitter at the same time as I am sending it to my subscribers. Actually, I discovered that it was really easy as well. Just a few extra clicks, that’s because I am using AWeber.
I was going to explain in details how I am sending my newsletter to twitter, but then, I discovered this awesome video explaining everything.
Just a few words about how to do it (only if you are using AWeber):
- Click Messages – Broadcast
- Click Create Broadcast Message
- Type your newsletter
- Click Publish in RSS/XML feed or HTML archive
- Click Twitter Update
- Enter your username and password
- Click Save Broadcast Message
- And you’re done
