I’m going to do a presentation fairly soon, and I’m using Keynote for Mac. I discovered during my work with the presentation that I should add two YouTube videos in the presentation, and I didn’t want to use links to the videos, I wanted to have them inside the presentation.
I believe it looks better to have the videos inside the presentation, and I don’t have to rely on an Internet connection. I don’t want anything online when it comes to the presentation, I just don’t trust that I will go as smooth as I’m hoping. I don’t want any distractions.
I have never downloaded any YouTube videos before, and I have never embeded them to Keynote. So, this was my first time.
All you need is
That was it.
First, I used Free YouTube Downloader to download the videos. I just needed the urls. Then, I opened the files in Free FLV converter for Mac. The whole process took about five minutes.
Drag and drop
Finally, I just had to drag and drop the files (using finder) in mp4 format to the slide in Keynote.
It works great.
