Google Reader is one of the most important tools I use when it comes to Internet marketing and the Internet in general. Using Google Reader I read hundreds of blog posts every single day. It’s one of the methods I use in order to conquer information overload.
Google Reader is very easy to use. You can start using it within five minutes from now.
This is how you do it.
Visit Google Reader
Go to: http://reader.google.com
Sign in or create your account
Sign in if you already have a google account (if you’re using gmail or any other service from google, then you have an account). If you don’t have an account, you need to sign up (it only takes a few minutes).
Add your subscription
When you first sign in to your google reader account, you won’t have any articles to read. You need to subscribe to a website.
It’s easy. Just click on the add a subscription button, then write the url of the website you want to subscribe to then click add.
It’s time to read
Once you’ve subscribed to one or more websites, you can start reading the articles. Google Reader will automatically update everything for you when new articles are published. All new articles are in bold.
To read an article, click on the headline.
The new website that you just subscribed to will show at the bottom of the list of subscriptions in the left menu.
