How To Hide Your Facebook Status Updates From Your Friends

There are many reasons why you would not want some people to see your Facebook status updates.

Friend or foe, here’s how you do it, in five easy steps:

1. Click Account and Privacy Settings

2. Click Customize Settings

3. Click the tab next to “Posts By Me”

This is the default settings for posts, status updates and photos.

4. Click Custom

You can show your status updates to everyone, only your friends and the friends of your friends, or only your friends. But if you want to hide it from some of your friends, click costom.

5. Click on Specific People and add lists or people

You should create a list of friends on Facebook, then add the list you want to see your status updates, you can even add more than one list. And, if there are some people within the lists that you want to hide the status updates from, then add their names at the bottom.

This is great, but I would really want another more powerful feature at Facebook.
