You are absolutely right!. E-business and online marketing are not wonder-substances, and not an easy way of making money. The only thing I can say that online sales and marketing are good tools to economically reach some kind of target audiance. With hard work, good ideas, and strategical thinking.

No problem. If the folks you normally promote to are used to seeing marketing type products, it would be confusing to them to suddenly see something about health.

I completely understand. Anyway, thank you for taking the time to answer my questions.

Earning money on line is much harder than some would have us believe. It’s never been an easy battle. I certainly would like to know how to really make it happen though. I suspect it is much like many other things in life, the path is different for each person.

You have a very interesting product. I am not sure if itÂ´s something for me though, I have always been promoting products related to online marketing and how to earn money with online marketing.

Yes, I totally agree upon that as well.

I usually just promote affiliate programs that I have personally tested or people I know and trust have tested them. And I just promote the affiliate programs by writing about them here at my blog, or put banners / promotional material at my blog and send information about them to my list.

I never try to promote them using a different brand with a new sales site. I think that would be rather difficult.

Absolutely! But it is interesting to think about the business modell of affiliate programs.
In book about e-business models I found that affiliate programs are a kind of pay-per-sales advertisements. In one point of view this is true: you promote a service or product, and you get your income by the sales you generate. But on the other hand affiliation means a deeper business relationship for me: If I join to an affiliate program I make my portfolio wider with products and sevices. So the pruducts and services has to be high quality enough to be promoted under my brand (it can be my name, if I’m a blogger for example). But most affiliate programs are not ready to be promoted under a different brand (the sales site can’t be designed to meet the requirements of the “hosting brand”)- so you do not have any other chance- you have to run a pay-per-sale ad campaign.

I agree, itÂ´s very important to only promote products that you can guarantee are top quality and that your readers / visitors will enjoy.

To jion to affiliate programs is really great, but it can be dangerous. If you choose a low quality product, you will lose the trust of your readers…
