How to find customers that will give you money

I am thinking about the Internet marketing part, instead of just promoting your website to the general public, you need to find a way to find the customers that have their credit card ready, and are just looking for the buy now button at your website.

It’s all about where to concentrate your efforts. And I do it the following way:

First of all, you need to bring targeted traffic to your website.

Second, you need to increase your conversion rate.

Third, well, there is no third.

Targeted traffic, is what you get if you use specific keywords in your blog posts. Like I am getting targeted traffic to my posts about Affiliate Silver Bullet. I am receiving a lot of traffic every single day from people who are searching Google for this spesific system… and because I am showing them all an affiliate link to Affiliate Silver Bullet, I am doing both number 1 (targeted traffic) and number two (making it very easy for them to sign up or buy).

Most people who are looking for Targeted traffic are using Pay Per Click, like Google AdWords. This is a great way to get targeted traffic, but as soon as you get the traffic, you need to have a great landing page. You need a landing page that grabs their attention, one that makes them so curious they just want to sign up or buy whatever product you are selling.

It doesn’t really help you that much if you have a plan for the targeted traffic, but not the landing page. You need both in order to become successful.

… and I believe that’s the two most important things when it comes to finding customers that will give you money. If you go into the details, you will of course need some great follow up messages as well, and the right procedures for your customers to give you the money. But I will do the details in post later on.

What do you think, are these two elements the most important parts of how to find customers that will give you money?
