Everything is about building value, especially when it comes to membership sites. That’s why I decided to post an article from Membership Software Reviews in order to give you some information about how to build value for your membership sites.
Giving the impression of value is very important if you want to get members and keep those members. People want to feel like they have gotten more than they paid for. While they might be satisfied with a basic level of content, you can do a little bit of work to give a much higher impression of value.
One of the easiest ways you can do this is to offer special bonuses. These can be either announced or unannounced. Using a combination of both works well because you get people excited, and you make them feel like you really care when they get something they weren’t expecting. These bonuses can be resell rights or PLR products that you picked up on the side (hand’s off for you!). These are quite inexpensive for you to buy, but your members will be thrilled with them!
More than one format of content
Another thing you can do is offer more than one format of content. That doesn’t mean you need to create new information for each form of content. For example, you could create an article, a video, and audio that all get the same basic information across, but in different formats. This is a good thing to do because you’ll be hitting on a variety of different learning styles. Member A might like to watch videos, while Member B Prefers to read text. You’ll be satisfying more members without having to do much additional work.
A great way to make this as easy as possible is to create a video. From there, you can extract the audio. You can then have the video transcribed in the form of text. You now have three different formats that will satisfy your members and make them feel like they are getting a great bargain!
Another thing you can do is make sure your site looks professional. While you might be able to get away with a very basic site, doing simple things like adding graphics and having a nice layout can go a long way to giving a great impression of value. The old saying goes that “you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover,” but we all know that people end up doing that anyway! When your membership site looks nice, people will likely have a better impression of it.
Impress your members
Doing these things will help to build value to really impress your members. When your members are impressed and happy with what you’re doing, word-of-mouth will spread and your old members will continue their membership. Soon enough you’ll have built this into a wonderful membership site that people are proud to be a part of.
