Don’t ever underestimate the power of a great name. Usually, a great name is a short name, a name you’d remember the very second you see it for the first time. But a funny name is also a great name.
The easiest way to create a funny name is to find a name that everybody already knows, and change a word or two in order to relate it to your business.
For instance, the latest Internet Marketing Resource:
or some other really funny names from “ordinary” businesses in the US:
Wok N Roll (Chinese restaurant)
Citizen Canine (Dog Kennel)
Bead It (Bead store)
Hard Wok Cafe (Chinese Take Away)
It can’t be that hard to create a funny name?
But I guess sometimes you’d have to check with the franchise to see if you are doing something legal or not. For instance, what if you called your burger store “Burger Prince” like from the Shrek movie. Do you think Burger King would allow it?
