Friends like these

At the moment, I’m in Gothenburg along with six friends. We meet up once a year, so I guess I can’t say that we really know a whole lot about each other, even though we first met during elementary school.

It’s really interesting to see how my friends and I have developed during the past 30 years. It’s interesting to understand how much I know about them, and it’s really interesting to understand how much I don’t know.

Who are you? I guess that this might be hard to answer. But, if you are going to achieve your goals, you must have specific goals and you need to understand who you are.

It’s easier to understand this when you spend a weekend with people you don’t really know a whole lot about (or you thought you knew a whole lot about).

What are your strengths, what are your weaknesses?

Your friends will either let you know, or you’ll find out for yourself during a weekend like this.

What do you want people to think when they think about you? What do you want people to think when they see you?

Obviously, this is your call.

Do you want it to be something different than who you really are?

If you want people to think you are tidy, you need to be tidy. If you want to be cool, you need to do cool things. If you want to be a person with “a lot of knowledge”, you need to read and learn.

During a weekend, I bet I can make my friends think whatever I want them to think about me.

That’s because it’s really all about marketing.
