Death Penalty By Google

According to Siliconbeat

A company called Search Engine Optimization, based in Carlsbad, Ca., just north of San Diego, has been blacklisted by Google. The company, which tries to help clients game Google’s search results by making them appear higher in the ranking, apparently went a little too far.

Siliconbeat also have a story about Wax who reported that Syndic8 might be another company with major problems these days (Charles Coxhead reported it first). Their RSS feed index is hosting hundreds of thousands of junk articles, designed to lure search engine traffic to context-sensitive text ads.
