Criteo AutoRoll Widget

Today I was contacted by a project manager at CRITEO, he presented a new widget (in beta) that he asked if I could help test on my blog. I took a look at it and after a few minutes I thought why not? The widget both looks good and it seems to be working great, well as far as I can see.

The widget is an AutoRoll widget, much like a blogroll. It handles links to other blogs for you. Instead of you having to do everything manually, it does it automatic for you. It also tracks what your visitors are clicking on. I am not sure how the links will be sorted on the widget and how they put related blogs to mine on the widget, but I guess I will know in a while.

What the project manager told me in his e-mail about the reason why I should use the widget on my blog was that “First of all, you will provide your readers with a very entertaining blog roll, based on other readers with similar reading habits. Moreover, you will get highly qualified incoming traffic for your blog. Indeed, as other similar blogs display your blog on their AutoRoll, they will feed you with new readers with a strong affinity with your blog.”

In my opinion Criteo AutoRoll is way too interesting not to use. Even though it’s beta, it seems to be working and I am looking forward to see if I’ll get any more readers / traffic in the weeks ahead and I am looking to see what kind of blogs that will be in my sidebar and if they are related to marketing or not.
