A few thoughts for you…
Why is Coca-Cola having many different variants of Coca-Cola? Is it because we, the consumers want different tastes, or is it because by producing new tastes they might get other groups of people hooked on their soda?
Is it all a marketing trick?
Well, let`s take a brief discussion.
I am sure that some of the various brands might taste a little different, like Cherry coke, the one with vanilla and many others. Even some of the light products might taste a little different. I am really not sure. I have tasted a few various light products, and I can’t tell the difference between Coca-Cola Light (Diet Coke) and Coca-Cola Zero, but I can see the different labels and I can see that the commercials are different… they are targetting men with coke zero.
But why introduce Coke zero, when they have a similar one already on the market? Is it really just a marketing trick, using Coke Zero to get more men to drink their soda?
From what I have read, the only real difference between the two might be the sweetener or maybe it’s something with the flavor as well?
Why are we buying Coca-Cola, is it because of the flavor, is it because it’s healthier than other similar brands, is it because it’s cheaper, or is it a combination of the two?
I think it might be a marketing trick after all.
Coca-Cola is Coca-Cola trying to adapt to the market. If most people are thinking more about being thin, then Coca-Cola comes up with a new drink that will taste the same (or almost the same) and with no calories. If people want another color, they will produce another color, but the same great taste. If they are loosing the battle to Pepsi, they have to be creative and think of something else. There will be another coca-cola, but what will be next?
- Coca-Cola 3 (the one with Omega 3)
- Coca-Cola smart (your brain needs it)
- Coca-Cola green (color and health benefits from green tea)
- Coca-Cola ice (the really cold one)
Did you know that there are local variations of Coca-Cola, and that Coca-Cola Light is the same as Diet Coke, but for the europeen market? Why use a different name, maybe light is better than diet in Europe?
Who would have guessed that I really enjoy my coca-cola? I prefer the zero, the one for men…
