Are You Looking For Free PC To Phone Calling?

Think about what kind of benefits it would have for your business if you could have access to free PC to phone calling. Most of the time when you are calling other people regarding your business, you are probably online. If you could have the free pc to phone calling, you would not have to pay anything for calls, not even long distance or international calls.

It would be awesome.

I have been looking for a free PC to phone calling for a while, but I have ended up with systems where both parties have to be online at the same time. But on the other hand, I actually don’t need to be calling other people on their phones. I operate in the online world exclusively.

Anyway.

In a series of posts, I will be focusing on how to register for famous communication systems like Skype, Yahoo Voice, and Vonage. Systems that will give you free communication alternatives, or very low rates for long distance phone calls.

What I think is important, is that you use at least one instant messaging system or VoIP. Internet marketing is about communication, and you need to use great software, in order to reach out to likeminded people.

Today I will be talking about Skype. I will give you a brief introduction and instructions about how you can register with Skype.

What is Skype?

Skype is a piece of software that enables people from all around the world to communicate with each other for free via their computer.  Skype to Skype calls are free however it isn’t all that you can use Skype for.  Skype enables you to make inexpensive long distance phone calls, send text messages, video conference, forward phone calls and much more.

Skype is also a viable business tool, enabling free internal phone calls, text messages from your computer, and inexpensive calls to land lines and cell phones.  Whether you own a business or would like to use it in your personal life, setting up a Skype Account is easy to do.

Here’s how:

Step 1:  Visit www.skype.com and download the software onto your computer.  There’s a big DOWNLOAD button so you can’t miss it.

Step 2.  A window will open on your computer.  Save the file SkypeSetup.exe. on your computer.

Step 3.  Once the download is complete, open the Skype setup application.  The setup wizard will launch guiding you through choices and settings for your computer.

Step 4.  Your next step is to Start Skype.

Step 5.  You’ll now be asked to create your account.  It’ll ask for your name, Skype name, and password.  It’ll then ask for an email address and location information.

Step 6.  You’re now able to make Skype calls.  You can also take a peek at their getting started guide which will walk you through making a test call and your first phone call.  With Skype you can also import contacts from Hotmail, Yahoo, Outlook and more.

Skype can be the one stop communication solution for busy people who are tired of spending so much money on phone bills and text messages and using Skype is easy to do.

So, are you using Skype or planning to use Skype?

Hi Jens, thanks for the info on comment sniper, I’ll check it out now. I’ll try it on Vista and let you know if it works for me, otherwise I’ll be tied to my PC. (!)

    Hi JoLynn,

Thanks. It didn’t work at all for me. Hopefully they have fixed it.

    Hi Jens,

It errored out after I rebooted, using the default comment sniper settings.

I then unchecked the box “start comment sniper when the computer starts” under the Sniper Process tab and now it works like a charm……this is on Vista, I haven’t installed it on XP yet.

Try that and see if it works for you, too, I hope it does! 🙂

    Hi JoLynn

Thanks a lot. I will give it another try.

I was sure this would have lost its effectiveness by now, but I still use it in the internet marketing niche! If any niche would get saturated with this product first, I figured it would be internet marketing, but apparently there aren’t that many people using it.
