Once again, it’s my daughters birthday, this time she’s 7 years old. Once again, she wakes up to the birthday song, ballons and presents.
And once again she receives the birthday card from the local bank in the mail.
It makes me wonder, why so few companies are doing this. Direct marketing works, we all know that it works, and it’s fairly cheap.
… but it should be personal.
What do you think I would do if I received a personalized menu, one with my name on, from the local pizza restaurant?
I can tell you this much; I would probably call them within a few minutes or drive straight to them and order a large pizza.
