3 iPhone Apps I Use Every Day
Finally, I got a new iPhone, the old one is still completely dead. I didn’t miss the iPhone when I didn’t have it, but now that I have one, I can’t believe how I manage to be without it.
I don’t use it for a lot of different things. I use it as a regular phone (calls and sms), I use the calendar a lot, and I use it for email and surfing the web. That’s not the exciting part really.
There are 3 iPhone Apps I use every day.
I didn’t see the point of using Instapaper when I first heard about this app, but now, it feels like I’m addicted. Well, that goes for all three of the apps. What Instapaper does is that it lets you save almost everything you read online and read it later. When you save it in instapaper, the articles will be available offline and you strip the article. You only get the important stuff, so it’s really easy to read and it works great. I’m using the free version.
It took me a while to start using Evernote the right way. I tested it a few times first, and I didn’t quite get it. But now, it’s by far my most valuable iPhone app.
I use Evernote to store all my ideas. What usually happens is that I walk, listening to music, and bam, I get an idea. I launch Evernote, and with a click on a single button I launch the voice recorder. I talk and tell what I need to remember, then I save it. It’s as easy as it gets. My voice notes are usually just 30 seconds long. I can also use text or the camera, but so far, I am almost always using my voice.
When I get back home or somewhere with a wifi connection, I sync all my notes. This way my notes are available online and on all my different computers (as well as my iPhone). I’m using the free version.
I listen to music whenever I have the chance. I always use Spotify, either on my computers, but most of the time I use it on my iPhone. Every single day, when I’m out walking, I listen to music. I pay a monthly fee in order to sync all my favorite music to my iPhone. This way I don’t have to be online in order to listen.
