How to Create Facebook Events

As I wrote a few days ago, Facebook Events is a very powerful and free (viral) marketing tool. Today, I will tell you all about how to create Facebook events.

First, go to your events page by clicking on the events icon on your right. The language of my Facebook settings is Norwegian, sorry about that.

After you have clicked on the events icon, you'll see all of your events. Now, click the create an event button.

Clicking the events button will display the following image.

You'll need to fill out most of the fields on this page. Some of them are required, and some are not.

Here are some of the most important ones.

Event name: This is the name of your event.

Tagline: This is a sentence that describes your event.

Network: This is where you pick the network, or make it a global event.

Event type: Select the appropriate category

Description: This is where you describe the event.

Start time and end time: This is when your event will start and when it will end.

Location: This is the location of your event.

Finally, click the create event button.
