Marilyn Manson Christmas and Creativity

What does Marilyn Manson got to do with Christmas you might ask? Well, I am not really sure if he has anything to do with Christmas really. Well, other than the fact that I almost went to the concert in Gothenburg (he is playing there as I am writing this) and it's only a week until Christmas Eve. I was this close to go (you probably can't see the fingers I am holding up); you just have to take my word for it. I really wanted to go. Not because I enjoy the music that much nor because I think he is a cool guy or anything (well, I admit that some of the songs are kind of cool). The reason I wanted to go is because I have heard so much about this musician, about all the controversy, and I wanted to enter his world just for a couple of hours.... to get inspiration, to see what it was all about and maybe become a little more creative. I believe that by doing things you normally wouldn't do, you will get new ideas and new thoughts and you will become a little more successful at what you do. To me, Marilyn Manson represents that. I think that he is a really creative guy, he is very successful and he is doing stuff that not many other people are doing, well, he is singing and he is entertaining... but he is doing it in a different way. Would Christmas be a good time to enter his world? Why not, I don't get the chance that often. But it was too expensive for me, I would have had to stay two extra nights at a hotel and pay for the train ticket to get home and the ticket for the concert and food and so on. I guess I have to do something else in order to get inspiration and to become a little more creative. My thoughts still remains... do things you normally wouldn't do, and I think that you will get inspiration. To me, Marilyn Manson is the perfect example.
