Is there such a thing as Optin Voodoo?

There is a brand new system with the name of Optin Voodoo that was launched earlier today. My first reaction to it, was asking the questions; what does it have to do with Voodoo, and why does it have such a strange name, is it just some sort of a marketing gimmick? What it`s suppose to do, is that this system will force your visitors to give you their email. It sounds a little scary if you ask me, every time someone uses the word force, I usually turn the other cheek and I am usually walking away without looking back. But this time it was a little different. Well, first of all, it doesn`t have anything to do with physical force. It`s a system to help you get as many email addresses as possible from people visiting your blog (or website for that matter). Keith Wellman & Ross Lambert have launched something that might be worth taking a look at. It`s rather cheap (if it works) and the price is $37 for the The Optin Voodoo Software and $67 for The Optin Voodoo Software WITH Platinum Blogging Upgrade. I haven`t spent much time reading their whole sales page. Doing stuff like that takes too much time for me, but I know I should read them - I could learn a lot of great copy writing tips from doing that (maybe another time). Even though I didn`t read that much, it was somewhat different this time. I took a quick look and thought about the offer for a few seconds, and now I am going to bed. But... I might have another look tomorrow, because it was interesting and they got something that made me start thinking. So they have done a good job at something, maybe it was just the Voodoo name that got me, I am not sure. By the way, they got a video at the sales page that you really should take a look at, it explains their system in less than a minute.
